Rick G's Art Page

This is a posting of Rick Griffith's art. He's my favorite artist from the "psychedelic 60's" era of San Francisco's "haight-ashbury"district.I've borrowed many of his elements from his "flying eyeball" ideas (as you'll soon see posted here). Below is a "live-link" to his official site. Once you get there click on "Galleries". I own one original poster of his from the sixties, one just like mine, is on the "rock&roll" page, it's the Jimi Hendrix/John Mayall/Albert King/ "flying eyeball" poster, titled: "Image_135" (near the center of the page), Enjoy! P.S. It's a real trip seeing Rick's "Honk" poster, it takes me back to "The Surf Theater", in Huntington Beach, watching my all-time favorite surf movie: "5 Summer Stories". Not a dry eye in the house, when Jerry Lopez had to crouch down, due to an injury he just suffered, during the contest, and balance on his knee, to hold his line while "tube-riding" a monster wave! Honk's "Pipe-Line sequence" playing Very LOUDLY: "BA-DAH-DAA-DAA!", "DAA--DAA!"
